Erin and Jay were married on Bald Head Island this summer-
Bald Head Island Wedding Photographer/Megan and Tom
Megan and Tom were married in June on Bald Head Island-
You may recognize her from her acting and from appearance in a few commercials and movies including the Folgers commercial where the daughter tells her dad she is engaged... Which was similar to how Tom asked for Megan's hand.
Tom asked her father in very room where Megan's dad had asked for her mother's hand in marriage years before. Her father didn't disclose this until his thoughtful toast at the reception. There is a photograph of Megan, with tears in her eyes, looking at Tom while her father toasted with the story.
She and Tom planned an around the world journey and embarked a few months before the wedding- thus having a travel theme for the wedding. There were maps and a beautiful old atlas that were a part of their design.
There were thoughtful details contributed by both families
Her mother made all of the paper goods- invitations, napkin holders, menus, seating chart and welcome bags ( she is an art teacher).
Tom's mother and father contributed wine to be opened upon their first anniversary, their 5th, 10th and 20th anniversaries.
This was a wedding I was thankful to be a part of!
