Bald Head Island Family and Kids Photographer

It's been a while since I posted. Summer is in full swing and the fun is happening on the beach!
Here's how I have been spending my warm summer evenings :)

Bald Head Island Wedding Photographer/Clark and Samantha

Clark and Sam- thank you, thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
Not only did I have great clients to work with, I came away with new friends on the island.
I love Bald Head for this reason. It's such a small place that carries such a big and wonderful group of islanders- many of whom were there to witness Clark and Sam's wedding.
We had such a beautiful day together- the rain held off on BHI all day giving us beautiful glowing light through the clouds.
Here is a bit of our time together

Southport Wedding Photographer/ Sara and Dan

Sara and Dan were so fun to work with. Talk about lighthearted and easy to photograph. This was the most stress free wedding day ever.
They were married at the Southport Community Building. Entertainment was provided by Eric with DJ Professionals. Coastal Catering provided the beautiful food and Wine and Roses created the florals.
Beautiful April weather and a gorgeous couple - what more is there? Enjoy a look into their day :)

Sarah and Ryen /bald head island engagement photographer

Meet Sarah and Ryen and you meet everything that you could ever want from a great love- laughter, ease, thoughtfulness, and that's the beginning...
I have known Sarah's family for quite a few years now- so it's no surprise that she would be marrying someone as great as Ryen.
I shot this session over Easter weekend - the FIRST perfect weekend of the year!
I really can't wait to photograph the wedding in June.
Can you begin to imagine?
So lovely...

KIDS! NC Beach Photograper/Phoenix Photographer

This week I am excited to post a few peeks at the children I have worked with this spring- and they all involve a cross country journey in one way or another.

The first collages are of Banks- I met his dad, Scott on a plane back from California- he was so excited about being a dad so I just had to meet this little guy and his mom.

Introducing Kenzie and Harper- Harper is 2 and Kenzie was just one month old the day I photographed her. I met their mom Abby through a new friend Melissa , whom I met in California ( I know, it's a mouthful!). Kenzie and Harper live in Scottsdale and I just happened to be in town for a few days. I was so excited to be able to work with them- they were so fun. Little Harper, with the fiery red hair, was such an easy going little kid- Thanks Abby, for letting me into your home!

I had one more session while I was in the Scottsdale area- here are Jack and Andrew- these guys were awesome! I only hope all of my sessions go as well this summer. They were so fun- and Jack had lost that bottom tooth- I just loved it.
We all had such a good time-
Thanks for such a wonderful experience out west!!!
